Liquid Weed Control
Different liquid weed control products will work on various broadleaf weeds. By combining several varieties of liquid weed control that are mixed properly, you will have control over a wider array of weeds. This includes dandelions, thistles, clovers, plantain, black medic, Creeping Charlie, and other weeds that grow in the Fox Cities and Manitowoc County areas.
Granular Pre-Emergent Weed Control
Between mid-April and mid-May, in addition to a granular fertilizer, a granular pre-emergent weed control product should be applied to your lawn. Pre-emergent weed control prevents most unwanted annual grasses (crabgrass, foxtail grass, and chickweed) from germinating by making the weed seed itself unable to grow roots. Granular pre-emergent weed control products can be mixed right in with the granular fertilizer that is applied at this time of year.
